diy christmas gifts - homemade scrub, lip scrub, lip balm, and lotion bar

Homemade gifts are a wonderful way to show you care for those you love. Here is a bunch of natural DIY Christmas gifts you can make that are sure to please.

diy christmas gifts - homemade scrub, lip scrub, lip balm, and lotion bar

I love making things from scratch, from personal care products like my hair rinse and body cream to home care products like this window cleaner and shower cleaner. But nothing is as much fun to make as gifts for someone else.

I've made homemade Christmas gifts for a long time, but typically they were only cookies and candies.  These days I am thinking not just about edible treats like my no bake cookies, but also about things that would make great Christmas gifts, or really great gifts for anytime.

So--are you behind in your Christmas planning?

Wanting to tighten your budget and avoid spending too much on last-minute gifts?

I've got a great list of homemade gifts that take little time to pull together.  Because there's only one week left....Eek!

Quite truthfully, we aren't doing that much traditional hustle-bustle Christmas stuff this year.

My adrenal fatigue doesn't do well when there is too much stress and frankly, I don't care much for all the Christmas season chaos.

(You can see in Slowing Down for Christmas how we try not to do too much.)

But I do like DIY gifts--both since they are homemade and frugal.

I love the homemade touch and my wallet loves the frugal part :-).

This list is a keeper for sure--so many great ideas for everyone on your list.  Use it now or refer back to it anytime you need a homemade gift for someone special.

In fact, this list really could be great for all kinds of holidays and events--think graduation, birthday, gifts for teachers, etc.

And if you'd like to supplement this list with even more fantastic homemade gift ideas, check out this post of Homemade Mother's Day Gifts. So many fantastic ideas there that would make great Christmas Gifts as well.

I just LOVE this scrub.  Super simple and it works great!

Nourishing Lip Scrub

This lip scrub really helps continually dry lips.

Got dry, chapped lips? This Nourishing Homemade Lip Scrub will smooth and soften them to near perfection. Sooo healthy and natural--you can even eat it :)!

Put this in a little jar with a cute label and gift it with some popcorn kernels!

This amazing popcorn seasoning came about as a "mistake" -- and it was a GREAT one. Everyone who tries it asks for the recipe!

Mild Curry Powder

We are curry lovers in our household.  We use it in My Most Requested Recipe - Pakistani Beef Curry.
Our favorite curry power used to be a popular gourmet-ish brand, but once I figured out how to replicate it almost perfectly with this recipe (it is sooooo much cheaper), we have never gone back!

Welcome!!! And from Croatia - how wonderful! Are you from there originally? I just skimmed your post on Christmas. You are right on. I have no extended family here and was sick on Thanksgiving. It was a real bummer but I am trying to focus on what is important. Blessings!
