Today, I bring you a whole bunch of easy AIP desserts.
The AIP Diet (otherwise known as the Autoimmune Paleo Diet or the Autoimmune Protocol Diet) has been gaining popularity all over the world.

There are both good and bad reasons for that.
The bad reason for the popularity of the AIP diet is that autoimmune disease is on the rise. The incidents of things like Crohn's, Hashimoto's Thyroiditis, Graves, IBS, and more, have been increasing (source).
The good reason for the popularity of the AIP diet is that people are trying to find more natural ways to support their bodies as they deal with autoimmune conditions.
The AIP Diet
The AIP (autoimmune paleo) Diet removes foods that have been known to aggravate the health of those with autoimmune conditions. If one remove those foods, the body can calm down.
Basically, this is a diet free of grains, nightshades, nuts, seeds, dairy, and eggs.

Which dessert is your favorite?

Got really excited and then… Literally the FIRST recipe is non-AIP compliant… Cocoa? 🙁 Read and choose recipes from this list with care!
Hello Elise. You are right that cocoa isn’t AIP, but the recipe clearly states that you can use carob for an AIP alternative. I do hope that you try them and that you like them. They are one of our favorites.
Hey Adrienne!! Great posts as always! Love running into you on Pinterest. We are working on a strict AIP diet here. Your posts are so encouraging!
Hi Laura!!
Love running into you anywhere!! Good for you! How is it going on the diet – any improvements? I’m trying to work AIP alternatives into all of my recipes.
I am pretty much drooling because of ALL of these recipes, which is a rarity because I am picky and honestly cannot eat everything! But you have made recipes I CAN ACTUALLY EAT without modifcation!
Yea! Good to hear from you again, Gigi!
Pumpkin mug cake looks yummy, and it’s the first time I ever heard of tigernut flour … gonna gave to find that now for sure!
It’s interesting for sure!
Just wanted to tell you how much I loved the recipe you sent for the breakfast cookies. Oh my gosh, everyone in my family LOVED THEM!!!! They aren’t really lovers of healthy food. I made a double recipe using chia seeds in place of flax and took them to work, everyone is of course on a diet and would not eat sugar laden cookies. They ate all I brought and were begging for the recipe and more cookies that were healthy.
Thank You so very much!!! May the Lord Bless you greatly for your kindness!!! For sure he has created you with many gifts especially one for blogging and cooking.
I’m so glad. Wish I could take credit for the recipe, but it was from another blogger. I have more recipes coming……thanks for being so kind, though :).
I thought flax and chia were a no-no because they are seeds?
Yes, but some people aren’t following the AIP diet so it’s fine for them….or perhaps they are and have found that seeds are not a problem for them.
I can’t wait to try some of these! As a baking addict with a recent Celiac diagnosis and major sweet tooth I have been having trouble finding and making great desserts
Hope you enjoy them!!! Hope your health improves too. Did you hear that dairy intolerance often accompanies gluten intolerance?
Thank you! I’m already feeling SO MUCH better after just a few months of being gluten free. I have heard about the dairy intolerance, I found it really surprising at first. Fortunately, I haven’t shown any signs of a dairy intolerance.
You are so welcome!!! I’m so glad you are feeling better!
What a great list! Thanks for sharing. ?
Thanks, Libby!
We made the avocado truffles 3 times over the holidays! Even the non-AIP folks couldn’t get enough of them.
Yea! That’s how we feel in our home about them! Working on more things….
Well they’re all so enticing! But my fave’s would be the Pumpkin Spice Cookies, Creamy Avocado Pudding , Spiced Coconut Pudding and the 2 ingredient Banana Cookies!
I haven’t tried many, but I agree on the Pumpkin Spice Cookies!
Just want to say these look fabulous cant wait to try them thank-you!
You are so welcome! Me too! Which is your fave!
