Are Essential Oils a Scam? ~ A Skeptic Looks at Thieves® Oil

Are essential oils a scam? Is Thieves Oil (or other oil blends like it) a scam?
I used to think so! I mean, these teeny tiny bottles of oil smelled nice, but they’re supposed to really be good for you?
Well, here’s what happened to me.
Enter your email & I'll send it straight to your inbox. Plus, you'll get healthy living updates too.
I’m a Skeptic
I’m not one to put my trust in things or people readily.
Really, I’m not. However, sometimes you have to rethink things.
With all that we’ve been through with autism, adrenal fatigue, heavy metals, and more, I’ve been in and out of doctor’s offices, both mainstream and alternative.
Among other things, we’ve tried:
- chiropractic
- homeopathy
- kinesiology
- ionic foot bath (only once)
- acupressure
- tons of supplements (no–I haven’t weighed them. But if I did I’m scared it would be close to a ton.)
- nutritional balancing (help based on hair mineral testing. This didn’t really help us.)
Anyway, we’ve tried a lot on our road to healing. I’ve been really careful not to mortgage the farm (er–our house) while trying to heal my son’s autism, but it’s been tempting at times.
Looking back at that list of alternative medical practices, I guess it’s pretty hard to think that I’m a skeptic, right?
But really I am.
We’ve tried a lot of things, but we really did put a lot of thought into all of these “healing options” prior to working with them, and most of them we aren’t doing anymore.
Either they haven’t worked, or we’ve found something that’s worked better or cheaper.
Before finishing this post, please note that I am NO LONGER USING YOUNG LIVING ESSENTIAL OILS.
I moved on for various reasons.
To find out what essential oils I’m using now, read this post, or skip ahead to the final post in the series here.
Are Essential Oils a Scam?
Well, the latest object of my skepticism is….you guessed it. Essential Oils.
I’d heard about essential oils a number of times over the years.
People would tell me how great essential oils were and I’d think, “Yeah, right. You’re just trying to get me into another one of those network marketing things.”
And frankly, putting oil on your body and expecting it to do anything except smell good, well, basically loaded with “woo woo foo foo” to me.
Nonetheless, it seemed that over and over that someone would be telling me about essential oils. Especially the antibacterial blends often called “Thieves” or “Four Thieves” or something like that.
Those blends and the oils in them are supposed to be antiviral, antibacterial.
“Yeah, right. Sure,” this skeptic thought.
I Got Sick
Anyway, about 10 months ago, I got sick.
Really sick.
I had a bad something that I just couldn’t shake. For a long time.
I had fluid in my ear and then my nose – and then both. Three weeks or more passed. I started asking friends for advice and feared that the dreaded antibiotic would be in my future. One natural-minded friend suggested I try one of these multi-level-marketing company anti-bacterial blends.
I am fine, of course, with taking antibiotics when needed, but I am concerned about antibiotic resistance.
According to the CDC, there is a lot of antibiotic resistance going on and it’s best to use caution when taking antibiotics.
This is how our conversation went:
“I always use that when I feel something coming on. It’s great!” she said.
“So, do you sell the oils?” I asked.
“No.”
OK then. Someone recommending it who wasn’t selling it.
Now I was seriously curious and was wondering if maybe the essential oils weren’t a scam?
So I went on a hunt to get some without spending the huge retail price for a bottle.
I got a small sample from a local woman, but it wasn’t nearly enough to deal with my problem. So I called the original person who had told me about Young Living and she sent me a larger sample– enough to get me through a few days.
Three days after I started using the oil I was better.
Good stuff.
(Please note that I no longer recommend taking essential oils internally unless one is under the care of a physician or other medical professional or certified aromatherapist — someone who knows your condition and your overall health. Furthermore, taking oils internally can lead to damage of the mucous membranes, and essential oils must be emulsified before using with a water base.)
Since then, this oil blend, or similar blends from other companies have helped my family and others with various issues.
Fingernail Owie
I used to be really prone to these–getting an owie just after something jabbed me under my fingernail (for one of them about 5 years ago, I ended up needing antibiotics since it got really nasty). I hadn’t gotten them for awhile, but I did get one again about 5 months ago.
Colloidal silver and peroxide wouldn’t do anything, so I thought about the “Thieves oil-type” blend.
I stuck a little of the diluted oil on another clean fingernail, pushed it into the injured area – and a few days and several treatments later, the problem was gone.
Viral Mouth Sores
One night, while we were out, my son complained that his lip was sore. He said he’d gotten bumped. When we got home, however, there were 6-7 obvious sores, filled with pus (sorry to be so descriptive.)
After doing research on oils and sores, I ended up trying Thieves again, this time diluted with a carrier oil.
The next day, here is what his lip looked like and it was MUCH better than before. (I wish I’d thought to take a photo the first day. Sigh.)
There was no sign of the sores within 3 days.
Lumpy Blemishes
I used to have a rough time with blemishes in my 20s but hadn’t really struggled with any skin issues but rosacea since then. Suddenly, this past month, I started getting some small breakouts. None of them really bothered me, however, until I got a large blemish next to my cheek.
I used the anti-bacterial blend diluted with a carrier oil and overnight the lump had shrunk noticeably. Within 3 days it was gone.
Another reader since shared that she’s used one of these blends on some underarm lumps / sores and they’ve vanished.
Sinus Troubles
A local reader who is prone to sinus issues had a bad sinus problem again.
She ended up trying the Immune Strength blend from my favorite essential oils company, and all signs of the problem were gone overnight.
Persistent Illness
Another local reader’s son had not been feeling well for several days that was had become worrisome. She’d gotten an Rx for an antibiotic but really didn’t want to fill it (see my story about avoiding antibiotics). She ended up trying an anti-bacterial essential oils blend along with an herbal supplement and said that the next day her son woke up and he was his old self again.
The “Thieves Oil Story”
Thieves-type oils were apparently developed from historical information about four thieves in France who would rob victims of the Black Plague (get it–stealing things off of dead bodies. Ick.)
They’d protect themselves from the plague with a secret recipe of natural ingredients including cloves and rosemary. The thieves were captured and given a lighter sentence in exchange for their recipe. And it really works.
Now I don’t know if this is a valid story at all, but it’s interesting, and the essential oils involved have been shown to have many antibacterial and antiviral properties. There are many studies about these qualities including this one and this one.
Essential Oils can be a very valid part of your natural medicine cabinet. I’ll fill you in on more in my next post on essential oils where I’ll talk about Peppermint, Wintergreen and other oils and my experience with them.
And I really don’t mean this to be a commercial. I am just so floored by my experience with them that I feel compelled to share (some things are just too good to keep to yourself!)
But Essential Oils are Expensive….
Do you feel this way? I did.
So – how do essential oils fit into a “financially concerned” household?
You can buy these blends pre-blended for convenience from the essential oils company that I recommend. You can go here to see how I ended up choosing this company. It’s a series, so you can read what you like – some of the comments got pretty dicey though.
And when someone gets sick, we don’t go through a whole bottle. It’s a whole lot cheaper than the gas (whoa – $4 per gallon?!) and copay and maybe an antibiotic on top of it. And we all know there is more than up-front finances involved with antibiotics and other meds, right?
Additionally, you can make your own anti-bacterial essential oils blend and save a bunch of money that way.
Again, please note that I am no longer using Young Living Oils.

Do you or did you think essential oils are a scam?
This post is for entertainment purposes only and is not to be used as medical advice as I am not a physician, nor do I pretend to be one. Please consult with your physician prior to using any kind of natural remedy or supplement. Thank you.
Hi whole new mum. I have a sinus infection, from staph for 6 years. What you reccomend for me to take internally or apply to my skin? I bought yl oils but im not sure how to use them to the best efficency.
Hi there – sorry but I can’t give medical advice. I would recommend talking to your physician about this.
Hi could you share how your friend used Immune Strength blend for her sinus? Did she ingest it?
Hi there – I honestly don’t recall but please do note that I don’t recommend ingesting of essential oils unless under the care of a practitioner or medically trained aromatherapist. Thanks for reading!
If you tried homeopathy you’ve already discredited yourself. Clearly, you’re NOT skeptical enough. You should have known that right from the getgo, it is just placebo. Noway can your remaining argument be taken seriously after that.
Hi Mike. Sorry you feel that way. Actually I am skeptical about homeopathy and still don’t know what to think about it but it’s interesting that one of the most popular hospitals in Philadelphia used to be named after the father of homeopathy. Did you know it’s approved as a medical expense in the EU? It appears to be allowed under FSA expenses with a medical letter of necessity as well.
Live a natural lifestyle. Ditch essential oils.
Hi Robert. I’m not sure what you mean by this. Are you suggesting that essential oils aren’t natural (yes, some are not) or are you saying that if one lives a natural lifestyle that they won’t need essential oils? Thanks for the clarification.
Thank you for your reply Adrienne. I thought my post might get some attention.
In a nutshell yes. While essential oils are derived from a natural source, they are concentrated beyond anything nature has to offer. In a natural lifestyle you might choose a lemon, but not lemon essential oil. Humans are funny creatures. Health minded individuals like to buy all natural fruit juice “Not from Concentrate”, yet flock to essential oils which are high concentrates.
The definition of natural is “Occurring in nature without human intervention.” Wild berries growing on a mountain side would be an excellent example. Unfortunately essential oils do not meet that criteria as they are highly processed.
Sometimes the definition of natural can be a fuzzy gray line. People can debate what constitutes “natural”, but if we call essential oils natural, then JetA fuel is also natural. Now I bet I really have your attention.
Essential oils are derived directly from plants, while jet fuel is from crude oil which also originated as plant matter, a surprising common link. The plants EO’s come from are natural, and crude oil is natural and organic. Both from a natural source, essential oil plants and crude oil undergo the same process of distilling to create the final product. While jet fuel and essential oils are two different products, both are extremely high in hydrocarbons.
It would be unfair to label one as natural and the other as not natural. They both are from a natural source and go thru the same type of processing. (Jet fuel, diesel and kerosene are effectively the same thing.)
If we label essential oils as natural, then we must label Jet fuel as natural.
In closing, natural does not mean safe. It never has. It never will. Bears are natural.
Hi there. I almost deleted it so there – how’s that for getting attention.
I understand your thinking but I do think it’s flawed. I actually don’t advocate for using tons of essential oils. I think they have their place but too much is not smart.
Yes, EOs are derived from plants and so is JetA fuel but that is where the analogy breaks down. I’m sure you know that there are typically a lot of additives to jet fuel and also toxins used in refining. You are also talking about different starting points. My understanding is that jet fuel comes from kerosene which comes from crude oil – that’s a very different starting point than say, lavender flowers.
Of course all natural things and all naturally derived things aren’t beneficial–and not beneficial in all concentrations or uses or for all people.
The bears analogy isn’t a good one either. No one is advocating essential oils only bc they are natural. At least I hope not. No one is making arsenic essential oil.
Aromatherapy is based on using the BENEFICIAL parts of plants for therapeutic means using several methods.
By your thinking process, one could say that since artificial things like BHA and BHT are cancer causing, then all artificial substances are cancer causing. Which they are not.
Hope that helps. Feel free to respond of course.
Thats good that you don’t advocate using tons of essential oils. Unfortunately that’s not always the case. The way they are being marketed today is alarming.
My analogy of the jet fuel was to point out that just because something is derived from a natural source, does not make it natural in its processed form, nor does that make it safe.
Thanks. I understand the analogy but you did implicate that essential oils are dangerous, which I disagree with when they are used appropriately and in fact, they are safer than many alternatives.
I have been an essential oil educator for 25 years and am very concerned about people taking the oils orally. Most therapists will not recommend this as they know that many are mucous membrane irritants. Essential oils have a tiny molecular structure and are absorbed into the bloodstream when applied to skin when blended in a suitable carrier oil. They can also be inhaled through steam inhalation and can cross the blood brain barrier. Cold compresses using a couple of drops of peppermint in cold water and soaking and wringing out the cloth then placing on the forehead will reduce fever. I am against companies selling preblended oils as they have limited shelf life. A well trained Aromatherapist will blend oils for the condition and client being treated and will always use professional grade oils. Using oils incorrectly will lead to Essential Oils getting a bad reputation when in fact they are very powerful healing tools but only when used correctly. Become informed!
I agree that caution should be used – thanks for your thoughtful comment. Are you saying that preblended oils (just oils) have a limited shelf life or only when blended with carrier oils?
Hi Adrienne, I see where you are coming from. When essential oils are blended, even in their neat form, a synergy arises and it is believed that the synergy between certain oils enhances the therapeutic action. As far as I know there is no evidence we can base this on but I would never use a blend, either with a carrier oil base or without for more than two months. I believe that potency is lost after that time. I can only speak from experience. My greatest concern is there is very little talk of contraindications, for example Rosemary oil, a constituent of Thieves blend, should not be used by people with High Blood Pressure or Epilepsy. However I have never bought the commercial oil so maybe there is a warning on the bottle and maybe I speak out of turn!?
My thinking would be, just as w/ foods, if you combine different oils, the shelf life of some will affect the others. So if you blend an oil w/ a longer shelf life with one w/ a shorter one, then the shelf life of the combination will change accordingly.
As for contraindications, of course having a good resource of essential oil safety would be a good idea.
Hi
Thanks for your article. I am curious about how you or others use essential oils for illnesses like fever – which, for example, you mention here. I can see that for herpes the pil can be applied diluted straight onto the skin.
But take Thieves Oil – do you ingest it? Put it into water? Diffuse it?
Thank you.
Hi there! You really should not ingest essential oils unless under the care of a practitioner or aromatherapist. And EOs do not mix with water — you need an emulsifier: https://wholenewmom.com/health-concerns/essential-oil-emulsifier/ Diffusing is fine! We typically diffuse whenever we are sick and use topically diluted. Here’s a DIY recipe that you can easily make yourself to save money: https://wholenewmom.com/health-concerns/homemade-anti-bacterial-thieves-essential-oil-blend/
thank you for these posts. I’v done some research too mainly young living and plant therapy, i have YL oils and one recently PT, YL doesn’t provide the testing results on their oils and they are expensive, a friend told me about them i bought a kit i could’t say no… i can’t afford to keep certain amount of money in the account monthly. and getting members to join in order to afford them. their oils seem good too pricey difficult too many steps to afford them. plant therapy seem really simple, affordable. and just as pure. i ordered frankincense from them, it smelled the same as the YL oil. i thought to myself just stop using since u don’t know which ones are true.. well its hard you get hooked. i think plant therapy will be a great company to try. its simple. just as pure. affordable.
I’ve always loved essential oils and recently find a new and easy way to use them. I took a reflexology course and the instructor actually used an entire class period to discuss the use of essential oils on your feet and how beneficial they are. Apparently the soles of our feet soak up a lot! Rubbing essential oils over your plantar fascia is a very effective way to you them as the transdermal abortion works over time in this spot. The instructor said she loves these foot pads that she wears at night with essential oils in them and she wakes up feeling great. I just ordered some and can’t wait to try them!

Hello Kym – thanks for commenting. Sorry for the delay in responding. Your comment got lost in a pile. I assume you meant absorption, correct?
I am looking for swollen ,painful ankles salusion. I believe living oils are good.
Hi there. I’m sorry but I don’t know what you are in need of. I personally stopped using Young Living if that is what you are referring to. You can read more here: https://wholenewmom.com/health-concerns/natural-remedies/the-great-essential-oils-showdown-in-search-of-the-best-essential-oils/
Ginger oil in a carrier oil – try 5 drops of ginger oil in 10ml of carrier oil. I use almond oil. Lightly massage into your swollen ankles. Blessed be and good luck.
oh my. this article is all over the map. essential oils indeed.
So sorry you feel that way. It was an earlier post that I wrote and I have been attempting to go back and redo old posts. Thanks for reading.
You post this as a scam alert and then advertise “My FREE 2 week Allergy-friendly Meal Plan??? HMMM Sounds like a good example of Calling the kettle black to me. I have used essential oils for years and they have their place. Almost every “good” thing can turn bad if taken to excess or if the individual(individual is the key here) begins to believe that “the good thing” is a panacea.
Hi Sandy. I’m really confused here. First of all, thanks for reading. But now to address your concerns.
This wasn’t a scam alert. It was me talking about how I changed from thinking that essential oils were a scam to realizing that they are not.
Can you explain how my offering a free product is a scam? Almost every blogger out there offers a free product to sign up for their newsletter. You are free to take it and unsubscribe if you like. Or you can stick around and get more free information later :).
Hope that clarifies things. Feel free to respond if I understood you incorrectly. Thanks!
I drank a tube of Young Living’s Nitro and I’m highly allergic to ginseng, so it gave me heart palpitations and heart flutter. Not very pleasant. And the massively concentrated caffeine, concentrated to about 60mg/fluid ounce, tore up my stomach ulcers and they started bleeding. Since I am on a blood thinner this was quite a concern. One tube is the equivalent of about 6 cups of coffee, all in one swallow. It is no wonder you get buzzed with all the caffeine and the ginseng. No different from a dangerous energy drink. And it is no wonder that caffeine at that concentration can tear up your stomach lining. I can’t see how these distributers for YL can get away with what is essentially prescribing concentrated drugs such as caffeine to individuals without their knowing anything at all about their health history. You can die from some of this stuff if you can’t tolerate it. Of course, they have their disclaimer which advises you to talk to a doctor before beginning to take the concentrates. But some aspects of negligence law you can’t tacitly contract away with a disclaimer.
I’m so sorry that happened to you!! I am not sure about what concentration caffeine is in there, however. Is it more than a double espresso at a coffee shop? I haven’t examined it that closely but looks like it’s just green to extract?
Or you don’t go gulping down tubes of liquid that you don’t know the contents of, given to you by unlicensed professionals when you are clearly aware of your health problems.
Hey Marc- there are ingredients listed on the label of the product she took. What do you think that a person selling a nutritional drink needs to be licensed in?
If you had these medical conditions and didn’t check the ingredients I think this is on you- not Young Living~IMO
Someone was trying sell people that it was curing her moms spots on her arm but an important was left out that her mom had a liver transplant. Guess what the spot were clearing due to the transplant.
:(. Misinformation all over the place. I don’t work with the company any longer. I hope you noticed that.
Today we went to our first Young rally, saw the products… have Only used the oils in a diffuser. I question the pyramid state this company obviously is sponsoring. My precious granddaughter is a great believer… I find the products pricey and questionable. I’d love to try to do my Own oils, or not?!? Love to know what options You chose instead!
Hi Jenny – thanks for reading! You can see the end of the series here. Happy to answer any questions: https://wholenewmom.com/health-concerns/natural-remedies/announcing-the-best-essential-oils-company-and-a-great-sale/
Somewhere in the comments I read that Young Living was sited by OSHA. I looked the complaint up and found the case was closed. As my brother is one of the directors and sent the number to him. He told me that the 111—- meant there was a complaint filed and no sitation was given. I’m not promoting essential oils as I feel they can be dangerous from an experience I had from an supposed expert sales rep of YL. Make sure you get your facts right before saying something about another competitor.
Hi Deborah. Thanks for commenting. You can find the link to numerous OSHA violations in this post.
So I’m not sure what 1 OSHA complaint you are talking about. Can you elaborate please? If you think I don’t have my facts straight please tell me how that is the case. Thank you!
How many words can be left in the comments. When I wrote a negative comment and tried to post it. It came back as an error message and said mu post was to long.
I think we have adjusted this so that you can leave an unlimited length comment. Please let me know if you have any issues -thanks!
A friend of mine uses Young Living Essential Oils in her diffuser and swears by them. I was ready to buy a couple of them for anxiety and pain relief (I was recently in a car accident), and then I read some negative reviews. It seems that many of the companies sell fakes or watered down versions. I have bought bulk herbs for tea from Mountain Rose herbs many times and have been happy with them. I just noticed that they sell Essential Oils and am wondering about their quality. Please help advise! This is an investment, and I don’t want to be ripped off.
Hi there.
I was told my Mountain Rose Herbs that they hadn’t been testing batches of oils but they started and found synthetics in some of their conventional and organic oils. I assume that they are doing or will do the right thing about this but I am not comfortable w/ a company that doesn’t do batch testing and possibly more. This post outlines my standards: https://wholenewmom.com/health-concerns/pure-essential-oils-testing/
Hope that helps!
Essential oils can be dangerous even if you get them from a trained rep. I know from first hand experience. Anything that’s not regulated by the FDA I’d be suspicious of. In my opinion the FDA doesn’t do that great of a job to begin with, so why would you use something they have no control over. Buyer beware remember that.
Hi again, Deborah. Are you saying that people shouldn’t use essential oils? Please clarify–thanks!
Im sure thats not what she meant. Caution should be taken on how to apply, ingest , or inhale. And of course the quality of the oil you buy.
Perhaps but she did say, “Anything that’s not regulated by the FDA I’d be suspicious of.”
I am just as suspicious of anything approved by the FDA. Their list of approved substances is filled with crap that moneyed interests bought and paid for.
Hello Sandy.
I’m sorry but I’m really confused. How is my offering a Free Allergy-friendly meal plan a scam? Please explain. I spent a ton of money and time on that and I’m offering it as a benefit to readers who would like to sign up for my newsletter that has even more free information.
Just this past week I got 2 emails from readers saying thank you for the generosity of my gift to them, so I’m really confused by this comment.
And this wasn’t a scam alert–it was me realizing that essential oils are not a scam. I was wrong. Some companies might be (are) but the oils themselves are not.
Hi, I appreciate you researching alternative oils You said the Rocky Mountain co uses carrier oil, my question is, can you diffuse it if it has a carrier oil? If yes do I need more drops then? The diffuser I have says use 5-7 drops of the pure oil. Thanks in advance
Yes, you can diffuse w/ a carrier oil. You can adjust up or down as you like but no need to.
You are a walking bag of BS! Folks.. do a reverse lookup on her “sons” herpes sores. You’ll find that this isn’t a pic taken by her at all!!! In fact, it’s a copy and paste pic that is used on SEVERAL bogus websites. My biggest hope, is that she’s not loading a virus onto my computer!
Hi Tammy. I am not a walking bag off doo doo. These are MY photos that people have stolen. I’m furious about this and I can’t do anything about it. They stole my son’s ear pain photo too. I have contacted a legal group that sues companies for this and they can’t track these people down. It’s making me sick! I talked to Image Rights. If you would like to contact them and ask feel free. I would think they remember me b/c we corresponded a lot.
I actually didn’t see the mouth sore photo stolen…where is it showing up? I am assuming they are on the same content thieves that are connected to China and other countries behind numerous names so I can’t get at them either. This makes me angry but I’m also upset that you would jump to the conclusion about me. I hope this clears things up. I work my tail off for this blog and I can’t tell you how many nasty comments I have been getting recently. There are other bloggers who are dishonest but I’m not one of them. Sorry for the vent but this is really getting me upset. Thanks for reading and I hope to see you around again as long as you promise not to accuse me of things without asking first. Thanks :).
Your affiliation is so obvious. I wonder why EO competitors would even bother playing into your hands.. Must be your website’s name. don’t believe the hype, folks, she’s making 12-15% everytime you click and buy what she deems the almighty lol! So on to you. ..I agree with Robin.
Hi Clare. Yes, my affiliation is obvious and I am required to disclose it and I openly did. Perhaps you missed my affiliate disclaimer that I put in the middle of every post.
I don’t know what you are referring to re: “EO competitors…bother playing into your hands”. Are you insinuating that I’m not a mom b/c I’m an affiliate? I’m also an affiliate for other things like Amazon and Diffusing Mamas (diffuser jewelry) and Corganic. I research things like crazy and try to do my best while homeschooling and trying to live a healthy life and share what I learn with others.
I wrote this series when I was a rep for doTERRA and Young Living and I left both. My doTERRA upline was telling me that I could make $8K a month if I stayed w/ them but I left to go w/ a company that was unknown.
So that’s the whole truth. I guess I should write a post about this to get the information out there more or edit the post–in any case, please don’t assume that am lying b/c I am paid for the work that I did and do every single day. You are welcome to connect w/ my family members to find out the countless hours I spend researching so many things that I write about, in addition to the companies that I partner with. I have removed a number of them from my blog when I felt I needed to and I am not averse to doing it again.
I hope this clears things up. By the way, Amazon pays up to 8% so anytime you are clicking on a blog’s affiliate link you are “paying” someone but your price doesn’t change and there are companies that pay up to 40% for sales as well.
I knew this site had to have an purchasing ending to it. The site and script are just too professional. But hey, good try! I’m sure you got lots of converts. What better way to convince people; be just a ‘Mom’.
Hi Robin.
So are you saying that it’s a problem if I have a way for people to purchase?
I am “just a mom” in one sense, but not sure what you mean by that. Actually, if you look at the URLs of the posts you can see that I had no idea what I was doing when I wrote the series. It was an honest search that I went on when I was tired of getting none or inadequate responses from Young Living and doTERRA and wanted to find a different option.
When I finally picked the company that I went with, I asked them if I could work with them. They didn’t have an affiliate program but they developed one for me. You can call and ask them about it if you like. I was their first affiliate.
Since that time I have made improvements to the site and more are coming.
Happy to answer any questions you have. I’ll be on and off the computer today b/c my one son is getting over the flu but I’ll be around.
You can read my About Page to find out more about me. Yes, there are some bloggers out there lying but I’m not one of them.
Hope that helps.
Can I ask you why, after such positive results with injesting thieves (or equal mix), you decided to stop ingesting essential oils? I believe that was an update you added.
Hi there. Because I realized how unsafe it can be. I think it’s recommended way too much and that it can cause damage of mucous membranes, interaction w/ meds and worse. Please don’t do it unless you are under the care of a medical practitioner or aromatherapist. I will have a post soon about it hopefully.
