25ouncesstrawberries(700 grams; 3 generous cups) (have them be hulled and whole)
3tablespoonsfresh sage leaves(torn)
2cupswater(optional)
dashstevia extract(optional; or to taste)
Instructions
Combine all ingredients in blender, process until smooth.
Taste test for sweetness and keep in mind that the sage taste will mellow as it freezes.
Pour into popsicle molds and freeze until solid. Enjoy!
Notes
You can substitute approximately 2 teaspoons of organic dried sage for the fresh sage.
About 1 tablespoon of any sweetener of choice can be used instead of the stevia.
The water is optional and is added if you'd like to stretch out the strawberries. If you don't use it, or use less of it, you'll have strawberries with intense strawberry flavor and more sweetness, but the recipe will make fewer popsicles.
