  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 small red onion (chopped)
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro (optional, but use fresh and not dried - see Recipe Notes)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
