Looking for some Healthy Super Bowl Recipes for your gathering? I've got you covered! Every recipe here is made with whole foods, and is gluten-free and dairy-free, and refined sugar-free too!

Healthy Superbowl Recipes Galore! All Gluten Free - and all with special diet options. From No Bake Cookies to Wings to Popcorn, you're covered!

I am typically not such a big football fan, but we love getting together with friends and hope to do it again this year.

One of the biggest problems with gatherings of this sort, however, is that typically they're loaded with GMO corn chips, dips made with fake cheese, and sugar-filled desserts.

In the interest of helping my family and yours have some better options, I've pulled together this list of Healthy Superbowl Recipes that are Super-Tempting too!

We'll likely watch the game, but beforehand we typically put baskets together for a charity function that takes place on Monday.

And there is always loads of food when we're making the baskets, so I'll be bringing my Savory Hummus and Surprise Seasoning Popcorn to that, regardless.

This past year I did another roundup of Healthy Superbowl Recipes.  Some of the recipes are the same, but you might want to go and check it out.

As far as the Superbowl itself, none of the icky commercials will be watched.  They can get to be a little "too much."  My son just loves sports, though, so that (and the friendships) is why we end up watching it.

First off, some of the things from my blog that we likely will make for this weekend:

Healthy Superbowl Recipes

Seasoned Popcorn

In my family's mind, no get together is complete without this popcorn.  Sooo good!

Homemade Popcorn Seasoning

Almond Butter Fruit Dip

This is a super yummy fruit dip without all the icky additives.
It also doubles as an amazing drizzle for desserts, hot cereal, or ice cream!

Easy Baked Chicken Nuggets

You can make these up ahead and bake them to be fresh in time for your get together.

Savory Hummus (sesame-free option)

I really need to redo this photo. But trust me--it's great!  A friend told me the other day that she doesn't like store-bought hummus but loves this!

  1. Want a cheese dip to go along with those homemade chips?

    4 oz. pepper jack cheese,shredded
    4 oz. cheddar cheese, shredded*
    1 tablespoon arrowroot
    12oz. evaporated milk**
    2 teaspoons homemade hot sauce
    pinch salt

Toss together cheese and arrowroot(and any spices/herbs you'll be using), in a medium-sized saucepan, until evenly coated. Stir in 1 cup evaporated milk, the hot sauce and salt. Cook, stirring often, over medium-low heat until thickened, smooth and bubbly. Stir in additional evaporated milk, if needed, until desired consistency is reached.

*(Or any cheese of your liking. If you're wanting a nacho-type sauce without using pepper jack, just add some hot peppers or even just more hot sauce or salsa)

** I simmered about 3 C of whole milk down till it got to 12oz.

    1. Yup - I never would know when the Superbowl is if it weren't for my son. My husband used to love it but we're pretty much just an ice hockey family at this point. It's Sunday night - 6 pm EST. I LOVE your recipes - thanks, as always!
