Looking for some new whole food recipes to try this Thanksgiving?
I know I am. I truly had hoped to have a few more posted for all of you, but alas. Life gets in the way. I'll work on more for Christmas, hopefully!
However, I've been perusing the internet a bit and have bookmarked some recipes that I'm thinking about including in our Thanksgiving menu this year. We were graciously invited to a new friend's home for the Thanksgiving meal. Between our allergies and sensitivities and our hosts, I have my work cut out for me, but I have come to enjoy the challenge of making special diets work for a whole foods diet.
Anyway, take a look at some of these (some are mine and others soon will be :-)) whole food, special diet-friendly goodies and let me know what you think.

And just in case you are looking for a totally non-traditional Thanksgiving meal, one year we had a family from India over. We served My Most Requested Recipe Ever – Pakistani Beef Curry. And they brought traditional Indian fare. It was wonderful and a nice departure from the typical Thanksgiving meal.
I'd love to hear what you think about these new ideas. And if you have any whole food favorites for Thanksgiving, please do share. I am still putting together what I will be making! Maybe your dish will make its way to our table!
Which one would you like to try? Or do you need a family favorite healthified?
