These low-carb snacks are just what you need to satisfy your hunger (or just your crave for crunch) while keeping you on your low-carb or keto eating plan.
From no-prep keto snacks you can grab and go to low-carb snack recipes, there’s something for everyone.
Which one is your favorite?
One of the hardest things to manage on a special diet is healthy snacks.
It’s hard to find things that taste good and aren’t loaded with processed flours, sugars, and preservatives. And when you have a craving or are sincerely hungry between meals, it’s important to have healthy options around so you aren’t tempted to eat what you aren’t supposed to.
I don’t 100% avoid carbs. In fact, I am careful to get healthy carbs in my family’s diet daily. Healthy carbs are important for many bodily processes and I’ve read that they are necessary for your thyroid and adrenals to work properly.
In fact, going too low carb can be detrimental in several ways, including affecting those with thyroid disease and adrenal fatigue.
Since my oldest has a life-threatening food allergy to dairy and eggs, and I’m not tolerating eggs well at present, the following are not just low carb snacks, but they’re mostly egg and dairy-free as well.
Here’s the list–enjoy!

I am always on the hunt for good recipes – and the following book is a great resource for healthy snacks. Not all of them are low carb, but for most of them that aren’t, you can easily make substitutions since all of the recipes are grain-free. Everything we’ve made from this book has been a big hit!

Which ones will you make first?

What a great selection of recipes, Adrienne! Thanks for including my breadsticks 🙂
Thanks Martina – I LOVE your recipe!
This list gives me lots of ideas for my picky 3 year old boy, who loves the processed food snacks, to my dismay. I can’t wait to try the Buffalo Cauliflower Wings and the Salt & Vinegar Zucchini Chips. I’d also bet the Nacho Cheese Sauce would go great with those Bread Sticks (like a healthier version of those little processed cheese and sticks packages). Thanks for the list!
I’m totally in agreement with you on the ones you like! You’re welcome!
I love, love, love your blog! Welcome home from vacation, missed your wealth of info!
You are too kind! I am so wiped out but it was great – thanks!!
I like this list, this all sounds and looks very good. Something my family would eat. They all look very doable.
I so often with a 4 and 5 year old am at a loss for snacks that are prepared with everyday foods and offer this kind of variety. The gluten free, dairy free, refined sugar free snacks are expensive to buy. My boys eat fruits and vegetables, but also want a different kind of treat with a mix of proteins and carbs and are healthy. You have a lot of choices here.
I agree, the right carbs are not the culprit at all, they are very good for us.
Thank you for compiling this list!
Joanne
Hi Joanne,
Yes, those snacks are unbelievably expensive. Occasionally – fine, but not as a steady diet.
You are so welcome! Take care!
Oh yes, forgot to mention favorite snacks. My boys like crackers of any kind, but the older ones of us like veggie chips, or popcorn that is seasoned. I’m liking right now popcorn with nutritional yeast with spicy flavorings. I have my own bowl. 🙂
Love all of those! Corn doesn’t appear to like me right now, but I love it!
