As promised in my post on Easiest Homemade Sun-Dried Tomatoes, we have been loving our tomatoes dried.simple.plain. But now I have a fabulous variation for you — well, actually two.
The herb-flavored “sunnies” that I am sharing are the way that we have been making and eating our sun-dried tomatoes for years, but now I also have a wonderful new version that we are thrilled with.

As I mentioned in my other Sun-Dried Tomato post, dried tomatoes typically sell for about $20 per pound, and the jarred version sells for $30 per pound on one site that I checked.
Hmmm…and they aren’t even organic. I wonder what organic ones would cost??
