Peppermint Oil Young Living

This past week, I filled you all in on my experience with Young Living Oils–at least, that was most of my experience.

I wrote about how I had been basically the Queen of Skeptics, hearing about essential oils and Young Living for years, but basically thinking that there was no way that they could really work.

I mean – oils–heal?

Come on.

Well, there's more that I'd like to share and I hope to–soon.

However, I thought it was high time that we have a fun giveaway on Whole New Mom. (Sorry I haven't done many.  I promise there will be more where this came from!)

Truth be told, it's been a fairly stressful week, and I could use a little fun.  You too?

There seemed to be no better time than the present.

Because everyone loves FREE :-)!

First of all, if you missed either of those posts, you really do need to go back and have a look.  And besides just the posts, the comments have some fascinating information in them as well.  I love how much my readers have to share – even when the conversation gets a little “dicey.”

As long as it is respectful it's OK with me to have a little controversy.

You can see what I mean in:

And if you're into controversy ;-), then you really need to check out:

Now, onto the giveaway.

Today I am giving away to one lucky reader… 15 ml bottle of Young Living's Peppermint Oil.

Of course, you can use this Peppermint Oil to flavor foods and beverages!

You can see in that second post on YL's oils all the things that I have used Peppermint Oil for.  They include:

  • upset stomach
  • digestive issues
  • muscle aches
  • growing pains
  • headaches

Besides that, other possible applications include:

  • Rheumatism / arthritis
  • respiratory infections (pneumonia, etc.)
  • obesity
  • viral infections (herpes, cold sores, etc.)
  • fungal infections / candida
  • digestive problems
  • skin conditions (itchy skin, varicose veins, eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis
  • scoliosis / lumbago / back problems

According to The Complete Book of Essential Oils & Aromatherapy, (one of the resource oil books that I own), it is also good for:

  • flatulence
  • toothache
  • fatigue
  • keeping mice, fleas and ants away!

By the way, if you are using or decide to use essential oils, this book is great.  TONS of info on how to use and what to use them for:

    Speak Your Mind

  1. I have read so many content on the topic of the blogger lovers however this
article is really a nice article, keep it up.

  2. would like to try thieves, have a sinus problem right now, would like to see if its really works,

  3. I wonder if I can use this oil for my purple under eyes zones…

    • Cindy, I did a little investigating to find out what to do about dark circles under the eyes. I haven’t tried these, so I can’t say, but one recommendation I read is:

Be aware there are different root causes for the puffy or darkness under your eyes. Look for the root cause such as water retention, lack of sleep, not enough exercise and deal with it directly.

      · Cypress oils is a powerful astringent and frankincense, geranium, myrrh, and sandalwood have helped some. Any of these oils with virgin coconut oil at night and neat in the mornings.

So it seems looking at other oils would be a better option. Hope that helps.

  4. I am so intrigued by the Thieves oil! I really want to try it.

  5. Love thieves, use it for everything but especially love to add a drop or two to my tea if I feel I might be fighting a cold and panaway is amazing stuff too!! My husband LOVES and will not be without the dentarome toothpaste (can’t remember now if its plus or ultra, its the most expensive one of course 😉 ) I like it lots too but I’m too cheap to use it so I make my own from coconut oil, bkng soda and thieves oil.

  6. the Australian Blue sounds like something i want to try.

  7. I would love to try the “Thieves”. I have read so much about it and feel that it would be a great one to have on hand.
Thanks so much for the opportunity to win something that is useful.

  8. I too would choose Thieves blend as I’ve heard so many good things about it.
