Welcome and thank you for your interest in me, my business, and this website!

I have been through a lot in life–food allergies, eczema, Asperger's, adrenal burnout, heavy metals.  I have learned a lot, and though it seems the learning is endless, I love sharing what I can with my great community of readers.

Before contacting me through this form, please read the following.

And remember. If your question or comment has to do with a certain topic or post on my blog, please post your comment there, if at all possible.  My email box is way.too.full so I need to trim it down. Also, by asking in the comment form on my blog, you allow others to benefit from your comment/question and from my response as well.  Thanks for understanding!

1.  Advertising, Sponsorships, and Giveaways:

If you are interested in a sponsorship, giveaway, or advertising opportunity with Whole New Mom, you can find current statistics and more information here.

2.  Questions about Diet and Health:

I receive emails daily from readers wanting to know if I have ideas regarding their health situation.

First of all, as I have stated many times, I am not a doctor.  Or anything like that.  I was Pre-Med in college and read a lot about health.  One day I hope to get more training.  However–not yet.

I so love helping others, but this blog takes a lot of time and while I would love to give out free advice all the time, I just can't afford to do that.

If I can respond quickly to your question, I will try, but please understand that I am a busy homeschooling wife, mom, and blogger and my family has to come first.

3.  Essential Oils Company Questions:

I get loads of these daily, asking me what I think about different companies.  I so wish I could answer all of these, but I can't.  I am trying to juggle this blog, family, community, church and homeschooling and I just can't investigate every company out there.  Most are buying from the same “experts” and so my answer will typically be the same.

If you are wondering about a company and whether I would recommend it or not:

Please read this post that has some guidelines on the qualities of a good essential oils company.

Thank you :).

General Questions:

Have a question about a recipe, health topic, etc.?  The best way for you to ask is to leave a question / comment in the comments section at the bottom of a related post on my blog.  That way, all of my readers benefit from your question and my answer as well.  You will also get an emailed response of my reply.

Hello. Did you by any chance try Amerita oils. I’ve heard they’re very high quality
I was surprised how many companies three are….. Hope you can respond.
    Thank you

    • Thanks so much. I hope to include more on other oil companies in the future. I did talk with them on the phone about their oils — and yes there are more and more companies every day. I think people are seeing the demand and trying to get in on the business. Hope to see you around again.

I don’t usually leave notes especially on the public realm but I wanted to thank you for sharing your recipes. I’m vegan myself and it is easy enough to prepare my own food. However, my nephew has autism and it’s tough for a child to always be missing out on the fun food other kids are having. So, thank you. You are a wonderful, generous, brilliant mom and fellow man! May you and your family continue to be showered with blessings.

    • Thanks so much, Anne. Your comment really blessed me. I know how hard it is to have kids with autism and to see them missing out. I hope to have more good recipes to share soon.

  3. I am interested in joining your team. Can you email me please!!

  4. Anyone have information on POYA and their essential oils they claim?? I bought Lavender and Ecalyptus Oils by them on, questioning the Lavender oil mostly as the scent is very different to what I am used to….

    • Hi there. I have never heard of them. I don’t see a country of origin on their site? Typically you would want to know that as one thing to know about an oil.

  5. Hi Adrienne!
Just wanted to reach out and let you know we cited your blog post Chocolate Avocado Truffles with a Kick in a post we wrote about gluten free chocolate recipes. You can check out our post here (you’re #47).

  6. I’m SUPER-waiting to hear your latest on your heavy metal poisoning detoxing, findings. I am familiar with two products. One is a zeolite product–as a bath, NOT taken internally! And one works for the colon area only. (I can give more information on them.)
Adrienne, I used to homeschool, and I know what you mean about being busy. Here’s an idea: How about using less forms of social media, just one or two, for example. Because!….
Adrienne, I think you are a more valuable resource than you realize.
I too was a YL distributor, and I too wanted to learn more and talked to Native American Nutritionals, many times. So I’m grateful for your very-time-consuming research.

So, back to more valuable than you realize!….I think many intelligent women are strongly needing a community of this type–health researching Moms–who are smart enough to question, and “dig deeper”. Yet who have definite time limitations. So I think our strength is in WORKING TOGETHER MORE. Maybe pooling our research findings?

I’m wondering if there is a way, your website could have more pooled “inquiring Moms” research. I myself have spent many hours doing online health researching. And of course numerous hours reading alternative health books, magazines. And I too have a medical background, but am also reading/learning far more into the alternative world.

My feelings, as a mother, after so much time searching alone at the computer, were sometimes rather lonely, when the answers were elusive, and so very time-consuming to find resolution on.

I’m sure other Moms must feel exactly like me. Needing answers AND community., at the same time. What do you think of these ideas? Helping you not be spread too thin, and also for you, starting and experiencing a deeper community of “smart and discerning” Moms.

I LOVE your natural, honest, writing methods. Just direct from the heart.

    • Thanks for your kind words. I have more to share….I need time to share it. Is there a reason you wrote NOT taken internally?

Not sure I completely understand your proposal but tell me more. Thanks!!! You are sweet.

  7. Hello,

Really appreciate you sharing all the information on-line! I want to make my own spices/herbs and have a dehydration machine. Where can I find the info for making homemade original and blend spices and herbs? what is the best place to purchase different types of flour?

    Thank you,

  8. Hi I am sorry but so confused here. I am trying to find out which company is best for essentials oils. Been reading for a long time and can’t find the info. I thought DoTerra was a good company. This is soo confusing, but I do appreciated your website. Could you please email me the best company you are commenting on? Maybe show me exactly where your comments are at? I clicked on best company for oils but can’t find it.. Thanks..No offense but it’s like who does one believe? Someone told me who does compliment on DoTerra that if the bottles say pure t……whatever (sorry cant remember the statement) my question can we believe that?

I cannot remember which article/post I was reading, when I read in the comments section that someone was asking you about treating scoliosis with essential oils. Is that really possible–have you heard of such a connection? I am 59 and my scoliosis is getting more noticeable, along with frequent back pain. I am very interested in arresting the progress of this condition. Thank you. –Debbie D.

  11. Can you suggest a whole house water filter? We want to remove the very nasty things like lead, arsenic, etc. and wiggly growing critters too!! I remember you said you had purchased a filter system so I hope you have some info on this subject. Thank you Adrienne, Sharon M.

    • Hi Sharon.

Good question. My current whole house filter is only for chlorine and sediment. I think that’s all it filters out. This company is very reputable. I would contact them. I am going to be talking to them for our own needs and I did just buy some supplements from them. They can do consults on the phone as well. Of course I would appreciate your using my affiliate link if you do buy. Thanks!

      (link removed by blog owner)

updated – 4/16. I am now moving to this company for our filtration needs. Much less money than the one I recommended earlier and has great filtration capacity. (affiliate link)

I saw that #4 on your store list was something for liver health but did not see anything to purchase….help?

    • Hi there. I am sorry – you didn’t see the Liver Support in the store? If you’d like to get it and don’t see the store just email me at wholenewmom {at} gmail {dot} com. Thanks!

  13. Hi, I click the link for the free trail membership but nothing happened. Can you help me? thanks

    • Hi there. I’m sorry but what free trial membership do you mean? There is a free report on essential oils being offered. Let me know – thanks!

  14. Lynne Genser says:

Here is a challenge for you: how about a low-sodium vegetarian broth mix? My husband follows a low sodium diet and I have started making just about everything from scratch. At present, I just substitute water for broth mix in all sorts of recipes, but having a broth mix substitute would be nice.

  15. I have been reading your website and I am getting ready to take the jump into essentials oils. One thing I am wondering. NAN doesn’t seem to have the “start up” kit that includes a diffuser, etc. like YL does. Is it best to just start with a few oils I think would be beneficial and purchase the diffuser, etc. as I go along? The one I would like is out of stock currently and expensive. The initial start up cost is a little overwhelming!! Any advice anyone could give would be appreciated.
    thank you!

    • Hi there. They do not have a startup kit like that – you are correct, but they do have kits that you can save some money on. You can go to their home page here to look for kits. (affiliate link) I never tried the YL diffusers, but I did try the doTERRA one (Lotus) and didn’t care for it at all. I love the NAN ones.

I would get the oils first and then the diffuser if you have to make a choice.

  16. Hi,

I realized recently I wasn’t seeing your fabulous conglomeration of allergy-free recipes in a while. I checked my inbox, and the last one was October!! (Time flies!). I don’t know what happened, bu please put me back on your list. Your recipes and free kindle books (more recipes!) help this home-cooking, busy, single mom. Thank you.

  17. Amanda Klepper says:

Just wondering what kind of make up you recommend. I am switching to more natural and I have no idea where to start. I am so glad I found your blog just in time, by the way! I will be ordering from Native American Naturals very soon.

  18. You mentioned in one of your posts that you had been using the Nutritional Balancing for yourself and your family. I just wanted to know how long you tried it and what your results were. I’d really appreciate it if you could respond as I am seriously considering this for my family. Thanks 🙂

  19. N Alberstadt says:

You stated you have used the oils internally. How? By mouth or some other private way?
And would Lavender be a good oil to use internally?

    Please reply via my EMail
