Greetings, wonderful readers!
What a week it’s been. I must say, I am pretty enthused, but also a little worn out from all the excitement this week from the probiotics series I was working on and the probiotics teleseminar we held on Thursday.
I learned more than I expected and feel like this is a whole new world opening up for me and my family in terms of our health.
For all of you who came, thanks for attending and I hope you feel the same way.
If you missed it, again, no worries. You can still get a copy of the recording and you even can get in on the great probiotics giveaway.
Free Probiotics Teleseminar and Giveaway – Two Winners
You really don’t want to miss this call. Czerral, a probiotics and superfoods expert, shared loads of amazing and quite eye-opening information about probiotics and gut health.
There was so much good information covered that I hope you all get a copy and listen when you can grab a moment.
You can just start playing it and listen as you set the table or get dinner ready, or grab a cup of tea (or my Rich and Nutritious Coffee Substitute) and kick back at night after the kiddos are in bed and listen with your husband.
Even though Czerral is the maker of the probiotics that my family and I are now taking, the call is not only about his products at all. There is TONS of information in there for everyone. And quite a bit of it is really life changing.
When you sign up here, you will get an email from Lacey Swartz (my dear friend who is also a rep with Miessence like I am) with:
- your link to access the informative teleseminar and
- instructions on how to enter a great giveaway with two winners for the same probiotics that I am taking
- a 20% coupon code for any of the Miessence products. The code is good through 6/8.
Two lucky readers will win either a tub of InLiven (the powdered fermented superfood probiotic we are taking) or a bottle of Fast Tract (the fermented liquid that I am “flooding my gut” with right now).
You should probably hurry on over and register to enter – the giveaway ends Monday night, so time is running out!
Super Sale on Two Super Books for $1 Each
I mentioned this past week that there is a super sale going on for Crock On, a whole foods slow cooker cookbook.
You can read all of the details here, but basically, Stacy Myers has written Crock On, a book of 40 tested recipes that we have really enjoyed. I must say that I didn’t think it would work for us since we avoid dairy due to my son’s dairy allergy and Stacy LOVES cheese and such.
But I made the adaptations to the recipes as needed, and so far, we have really enjoyed the recipes I’ve made.
And for just $1, this book is a great addition to your family’s whole food busy lifestyle.
What I forgot to tell you is that Stacy’s husband, Barry, has a book on special as well.
Debtor to Better is just $1 as well.
If you are trying to get out of debt (which I strongly encourage you to do), then this is a great book to help you get there.
Full of more than just “tighten your belt” cheerleading, Debtor to Better covers:
- budgeting options
- tools for lessening expenses
- methods for knocking out debt
and much more.
I used to be an insurance agent, employee benefits specialist, and even worked teaching at a bank and on the stock options trading floor for 4 years, so I know finances pretty well.
So when I say a finance book is user-friendly and has good info, I know from whence I speak.
Get this book for only $1 and get yourself out of debt.
Use Code SMCis3 for the $1 deal on either or both books.
**Both books are regularly $5 each, but you can get each of them of only $1 each with code SMCis3.** Deadline is June 1 (code appears to still be working though .)
FREE Amazon Books
As always, these books are free at the time of posting, but that can change at any time, so check the price before downloading.
Also, you don’t even need a Kindle to read these. Just download Kindle for PC or Mac on at Amazon and read on your computer. Please note, the links in here are mainly affiliate links. I don’t make anything from your download, but if you purchase anything else I might. Thanks for the support !.
This is THE download of the week! My kind of book!
Tons of info on all the sweeteners I know and love (from xylitol to stevia to yacon and jerusalem artichoke syrup), to fabulous recipes that are low in glycemic value. Get this book and get your blood sugar more under control!
Pies, Cookies, and even Yummy Vegan Muffins. .
This is the kind of cookbook I am going to be offering you all–hopefully soon!
Free Homesteading Magazine–From Scratch
This looks like a must grab. For the modern homesteader.
It’s summer. The season for gardens and greens and salads. The recipes in here make it easy to turn the salad blahs into a new culinary experience. Enjoy!
This book advocates getting off refined sugar and onto more natural sweeteners. I think this is a great first move for folks looking to change up their not-so-natural diets.
I will say, however, that I think it is imperative not to overindulge in the “healthy sweet stuff” as well. Those natural sugars still put a big load on your system so be careful. You can read more about my “perils with sugar” in Candida and The Beginning of My Sugar-Free Life.
Coconut flour is one of the most popular flours these days since many are going gluten and grain-free. This book has some nice looking recipes, but many do call for eggs, just so you know .
Your body’s water content is huge. That’s why you can only go 3 days without water, but you can go weeks without food (though we wouldn’t want to .)
This book gives you some very appealing recipes for infusing fruit and herb flavors into your water to make it easier to get your daily intake to where it should be. I think the Lemon Lavender water looks great! (And no glycemic impact as well!)
Tropical Traditions has another great sale on their high quality Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil.
Buy 2 gallons for $99! That’s really a great deal. Until midnight, June 9.
This oil apparently has the highest quality of antioxidants and other nutritional benefits of all the coconut oils on the market.
They have a few other items on sale (click on the sale link in the upper right corner), but this coconut oil deal is the best, in my opinion.
New customers to Tropical Traditions get a free informational book about coconut oil which includes great recipes, and I get a referral bonus for connecting you with TT . Thanks!
(By the way, I do have coconut oil for sale in my Natural Store. It might be a bit cheaper, especially if you are local .)
Pretty & Sustainable Feminine Products–that Bless as Well
Just a quick mention here about one of my sponsors – Peepods.
Pretty regularly I remind you about my sponsors. Peepods is one of them and I must say, every month that I don’t need to buy feminine products or fill up a landfill with icky plasticky stuff, I am so thankful for this company.
I also love how pretty they are and that they bless others in difficult situations.
When you buy a set of pads, (and you get 10% off any purchase with code “wholenewmom”) Amber, the owner, employs women in Belize, plus she donates a set to a hospital in Ethiopia that treats women with obstetrical problems.
Read my review of Peepods here.
Here’s how pretty her products are. Nice, huh?
10% off Great Almonds
I mention this company all the time because they are a great sponsor and they have–well, great almonds.
If you haven’t read my post on Is There Engine Fuel on Your Almonds, you should. It is just beyond me what our government does to our food. And other things. But that’s another topic for another time .
