Happy Weekend, Readers!
I sit here in Michigan surrounded by snow. Seriously.
It has snowed soooo much this winter.
I love winter, so I am just fine with it. It’s gorgeous. No allergies. And it isn’t muggy.
But this is a lot.
Anyhow, here are some great deals for you.
A super good deal on great coconut oil, loads of great free kindle books, and a little more.
The following links are either referral or affiliate links. So if you click on one and make a purchase I might make a commission. Your support, as always, is greatly appreciated. And it helps keep this free resource up and running – thanks :)!
Remember that Great Gold Label Coconut Oil I did a review on? It’s really high quality stuff.
Well, through 2/6/14, you can get a HUGE 5 gallon tub of this healthy oil for 46% off–5 gallons for only $199.80, which makes each gallon only $39.96 which is an unbelievable price for this oil.
New to Tropical Traditions? You’ll get a free book with great info about coconut oil as well as a bunch of great recipes.
10% off Seriously Yummy Almonds
Just Almonds. Great almonds. Great almond flour.
We’ve been buying from them for quite awhile now, and we’ve been very happy with their quality and service.
Seriously happy, actually. Their almonds are sooo sweet (we get the non pareil variety) and they don’t have any Engine Fuel on them. Yucko, huh? Fuel doesn’t belong on almonds, but that’s the way the government works sometimes.
They aren’t organic, but I can’t buy organic everything. I do the best I can.
My tip to you: Stop eating engine fuel and get Just Almonds almonds instead. The FDA says that the engine fuel is all gone from the almonds, but I don’t care. I’m not buying PPO covered almonds. No thank you. These taste better anyways. I can’t believe how much better they taste than the grocery store almonds–wonder if it’s the almond quality or if engine fuel just tastes bad ;).

Free Kindle Books
As always, these books were free at posting time, but their prices can change at any moment. Sorry but I am not able to do anything about it :).
And to save you even more money, you don’t need a Kindle or any kind of fancy schmansola reading device to read these books. Simply download Kindle for PC or for Mac here and read on your computer. Yea for saving even more money and for not having one more thing in your house!
Mostly basic, but still pretty yummy recipes, plus some bean cooking tips.
Make sure you read How to De-Gas Beans if you haven’t already. It’s a big big help (you know what I mean).
I would love the author of this book to come to my house and design MY gardens.
These recipes look super tasty. A must download in my book.
This is for my Christian readers. David Platt is one of those “no nonsense” writers.
He’s all about living what you believe.
I like that.
I have a really hard time finding a good lip balm since my lips are always dry.
Maybe I should give these a try.
That’s all for now – have a relaxing rest of the weekend.
Join me for more stuffola next week :).
