Free Kindle Books, Natural Allergy Help, a Blendtec Giveaway, and More Healthy Living Deals – 6/28/14

Hi there, Readers!

It’s another weekend of savings -after a week of nuttiness here.

The highlight of the week was an exploded bag of beet powder all over our basement walls and carpeting.

Somehow we’ve almost got it all cleaned up, but seriously, there’s nothing like beet powder to put a dent into your plans.

If you’d like to see how horrible it all way, head on over and become a Facebook fan, or you can join my New Exclusive Whole New Mom Insiders Group.

I’ll try to share it soon.

Plus, of course, you’ll get lots of other great posts in both groups too.

Blendtec Oils Giveaway

In case you missed it, I have a fantabulous giveaway going on my site right now – for a BLENDTEC BLENDER!  (Plus you can win some essential oils and a natural spa kit too!)

I so hope one of my readers wins this.  I know how much a high-powered blender can help in a whole-foodie, special diet kitchen.  I have no idea how I’d make it without one.

Make sure you get in on this before it’s too late!  Enter here.

Risk-Free Natural Allergy Help – The Allergy Kit
10% off and a Giveaway

Got Allergies? Here's Natural Allergy Relief you can do at home!

Got allergies to dust, pollen, foods, animals?

I’ve suffered from allergies my whole life.  I’ll tell my story sometime, but I was literally almost incapacitated in high school and later due to allergies to tree pollen.

And now my son has life threatening food allergies.

One allergy treatment we looked into is NAET – a fascinating way of apparently desensitizing the body to allergens by using kinesiology.

I had heard of many who had good results – but it is super pricey.  We were quoted about $2,000 to work on my son’s life-threatening allergies. – YIKES!

Anyhow, I stumbled upon The Allergy Kit, which is another kind of alternative allergy treatment, and I am just starting to work on our allergies using this technique.

I have heard good things about it and it’s very reasonably priced, plus you can get 10% off any order with CODE 10% off.

I encourage you to head over and check out The Allergy Kit.

They have a giveaway going on right now too which you can enter when you get to their site.

And they offer a 30 day money-back guarantee – so you can’t lose!

10% off Great Almonds

Just Almonds

I’ve been a Happy Just Almonds customer for a long time now because:

– they are great sponsors and
-they have great almonds

Once I found out that the government started putting Engine Fuel on Almonds I went on the hunt for raw almonds that were affordable, or at least almonds that didn’t have fuel on them — because who wants to eat fuel?

I sure don’t.

Just Almonds’ almonds are seriously good.  The first time I made almond butter out of these almonds my husband commented on how sweet it was.

The Non Pareils are super sweet.  Get 10% off your order with code WNM.

25% off Peepods (plus 10% coupon)

cloth pads

This is one of the best sustainable decisions I have ever made —

To get cloth pads.

I mean, who wants to head to the store at that time of the month?

Now I don’t have to do it ever again!

And now it’s a better time than ever because Peepods now has 25% off of their old pricing – and –

You can still get another 10% off with code wholenewmom at Peepods.

Now that’s a real deal.

And look at how pretty they are!

Cloth Pads

Check out Peepods for

– incontinence pads
– menstrual pads and
– nursing pads

Better for you, your wallet, and for the environment.  You can also read my review of Peepods here.

 Tropical Traditions

Tropical Traditions 250 250

Tropical Traditions has a few good sales going on right now, but the best one in my opinion is:

Get 55% off 5 gallon buckets of Pure Coconut Oil through July 3, and

Get Free Shipping on Healthy Buyer Club Purchases using Code 14627HBC.  (through 6/30)

There are a few other deals that you can check out by clicking on the link in the upper right of the Tropical Traditions‘ site as well.

New to Tropical Traditions?  You’ll get a free book with great info about coconut oil as well and a bunch of great recipes.

Why You Really Can Memorize Scripture

For my Christian Readers, this should be really helpful to you. We’ve been wanting to get back on the “memorizing Scripture” bandwagon again so I am very happy I found this book!

Why You Really Can Memorize Scripture

These comments do not necessarily reflect the opinions of Whole New Mom, LLC.

    Speak Your Mind

  1. Thanks for your collection of books etc! I’m doing a version of NAET for myself currently but it’s a 2 hour drive both ways. I’ve by trying to figure out something else for my kids, excited to look into the Allergy Kit. Also excited to start memorizing more scripture, really need that!

  2. Rhoda Edwards says:

Thank you so much, the books are just lovely. Have a lovely weekend!

  3. Sorry to hear about the beet powder, that sounds like a nightmare to clean up. I suppose the silver lining is that you’ll have a good story to share at parties.

  4. Ok,so that allergy kit seems too good to be true?

    • And, I believe you are a Christian woman, how do you feel about the “energy” thing. I have never had it explained in an understandable way, and I know some Christians who are wary of it and won’t use it.

      • Hi Melissa. I think that energy is everywhere. In the form of atoms and nuclei and protons, our bodies, etc. And more. So I think that the oils do for sure have energy. How much that affects what they do, I don’t know. And I do think that many totally non Christian groups have taken this energy and put a spin on it which is problematic. But I just pick and choose what I will and will not get involved with. I hope that helps.

    • Well, it’s for sure worth a shot. 30 day money back and pretty low cost. I would love to hear what you think.

      • Let us know how the allergy kit works for you! I am interested, but husband is thinking it might be a scam.
