I’m fighting this rough cold today so I am going to be brief and go to bed and schedule this link up to go up at 6 in the morning so I don’t need to fuss when I get up.
Can’t wait to see what you all have to share!
Welcome back to our Nutritious and Delicious Linky Blog Hop — Traditional Tuesday!
What is Traditional Tuesday? Well,
- if you are a blogger, you can share your whole food related tips on this blog and it will be shared on all five blogs
- if you are a blog reader (I guess we all are, right
?) you can stop by now as well as later to check out the great tips that participating bloggers have to share. And there should be some great stuff, so come back later this week and check it out!
Here is some more specific info:
Traditional Tuesday’s Nutritious and Delicious Blog Carnival is for anything involving traditional foods.
Recipes, techniques, tips, discussions on the hows and whys we do what we do, kitchen organization, appliances used, fitting traditional foods into your life and schedule, anything under the banner of traditional foods is wonderful.
Posts, Facebook pages or websites on the politics of real foods and action alerts for individual states or topics are also welcome.
This blog carnival is hosted by:
KerryAnn @ Cooking Traditional Foods
Jessica @ Delicious Obsessions
Dawn @ Cultured Mama
And… me
Here are the Rules :

- If you are linking to a recipe, it must be traditional foods. No white flour, white sugar, yeast, packaged or processed products and the like.

To link back, just edit your post and put a link to this blog post at the very bottom of your post. It’s good etiquette and it helps both of us.

- Links that do not follow these rules will be deleted.
Please note – if you see something that doesn’t fit the mission of this blog, please let me know
.
- Linky will stay open from 12:01AM Tuesday to 11:59PM Friday EST.

Hi,
I shared my amazing Pecan Crusted Pumpkin Pie and my Grain-Free Thanksgiving Stuffing. Lastly, I shared an article about the unhealthy school lunches and an article about the issues around honey. Thanks for hosting!
Have a great Thanksgiving!
Wow, Jill – you’ve been busy. The stuffing looks like something I just might have to try. Happy Thanksgiving to you too!
I’ve gathered up several favorite grain-free and GAPS-friendly recipes that I will be making this Thursday. Just because recipes are grain-free doesn’t mean they aren’t absolutely delicious. I have my recipes as well as several other tried and true recipes from fellow real food bloggers that I will use. Come over and see!

Thanks – any in particular that you would recommend?
This year I am going to stick with turkey for the main with the Raw Cranberry Sauce, though I want to try that duck recipe next year, or maybe for Christmas. I need to find a local duck…
And as for sides I am going to make the Homestyle Stuffing (one skillet), Fauxtatoes with gravy, lemon water kefir instead of strawberry, pecan-crusted pumpkin pie, and the butternut cupcakes with cardamom buttercream frosting. I know it sounds like a lot, but I’m leaving out everything I WANT to make, lol!
Any of them jump out at you? I’m curious what you’re making!
I am glad you reminded me about the Fauxtatoes! I can’t believe I forgot that! Now I’ll have to go and get cauliflower
! I am making a whole cranberry sauce w/ no sugar, probably an almond crusted pumpkin pie (from the Whole Foods Recipe RoundUp), but I am going to have to find a coconut or nut crust – I should have added that to the RoundUp. Then I’ll make my Moroccan Carrots and probably a twist on the cornbread stuffing from that roundup as well. I mainly hope to spend time making a Thanksgiving Tree w/ my kids. Or at least making small lists of what we are thankful for. We do that every year. Can’t forget the most important part ! Happy Thanksgiving, Kendahl!
Hi Adrienne. Thanks for hosting another great week. We’re on holidays so I didn’t get around to sharing a post this morning but I’m checking out everyone else’s great post!
Hi France. You’re welcome. Just saw on your blog that you are in Canada! I don’t know if I’ve mentioned (or if you’ve read), but Canada has a sweet place in our hearts b/c my son’s “fixation” in on pro hockey and now it’s our whole family’s fixation. I think we know the whole Canadian national anthem.
. Hope you are having a nice vacation!
Okay, maybe I’m being an overachiever with blog posts this week, but I can’t help sharing this one too! I just made it this morning and the house smells awesome! I can’t have sweet potatoes on GAPS, so I made this Butternut Squash “Sweet Potato” Casserole with Pecan Crunch. It is SO yum.

Yum – sounds great! Just talked w/ another friend about GAPS. I might need to look into it again. Thanks for sharing!
Finally managed to link up before missing the deadline! I added my Carob-Buckwheat pancakes. Hope they fit the guidelines!
Yum, Ricki! I’ll be trying these! Thanks for stopping by!
