Allergy Free Recipes

Welcome back to another week of Allergy Free Wednesdays! A collection of yumminess that is aimed at making it easier for you to create healthy, allergy free foods for you and your family. There is no “clear rule” against including processed ingredients in your submission (but we hope you are moving in that direction :-)). So…occasionally you will find some “whole foodie undesirables” in the entries. What to do if you see processed foods and don’t want them?:

So—-welcome to Allergy-Free Wednesdays (AFW). AFW is a weekly blog hop where folks can share their allergy-free cuisine, gain knowledge about allergy-related topics/issues, and connect with others living or caring for someone with food allergies. Your weekly submissions will be shared on 7 blogs! Additionally, eachhostess will feature a favorite recipe(s) from the week before. Please visit each blog to see their features! Your hostesses are:

Wondering What You Can Link Up on Allergy Free Wednesday?

Basically anything that is fitting for an allergy free diet in some way (we’re not that strict).
Every week I write my own substutions for the week’d favorites to help you along a bit.
For the complete rules, click here.
Here goes – starting off with my favorites–and you should check out the other hostesses’ posts to see if you were featured there!

My Favorites from Last Week (with substitution ideas)~

Teriyaki Kebabs from Yummy Inspirations
My kiddos were drooling over this recipe.  “Can you make this, puhleeeeze?!”
I’d just use a candida-diet-friendly sweetener.

Allergy-Free Sweet Potato Toddler Crackers from Gluten-Free on a Budget
What a great idea!  If you need a corn-free baking powder, use my Aluminum and Corn-Free Baking Powder.

and finally,

Caramel Apple Trifle from Sweetly Raw
Wow.   I would use a candida-diet-friendly sweetener and Homemade Almond Butter.

Dairy Free Dessert

and Readers’ Favorite

Too Much Blaming on the Grain from Peeling Back the Onion Layers

I can’t wait to see what you all have this week!

  1. Thank you for featuring my “Too Much Blame on the Grain?”! I think it is an interesting topic for discussion with the popularity of grain free diets!

  2. Thanks for hosting!

Today I shared “Gallbladder Cleanse – An Alternative to Surgery” While this may not be the most appetizing recipe, for those who have gallstones or just want to make sure there are no stones lurking – this really works!
    Have a great week!

  4. Thank you for featuring my Teriyaki Kebabs! My family went crazy for them, hope yours does too! :)
