Allergy Free Recipes Welcome back to another week of Allergy Free Wednesdays! A collection of yumminess that’s aimed at making it easier for you to create healthy, allergy-free foods for you and your family.

There is no “clear rule” against including processed ingredients in your submission (but we hope you are moving in that direction :-)). So…occasionally you will find some “whole foodie undesirables” in the entries. What to do if you see processed foods and don’t want them?:

Welcome to Allergy-Free Wednesdays (AFW)–a weekly hop where you share your allergy-free cuisine, gain knowledge about allergy-related topics/issues, and connect with others living or caring for someone with food allergies.  From gluten-free desserts to vegan recipes and “Top 8 Allergen Free” recipes, we have something for everyone.

Your weekly submissions are shared on 6 blogs. Each hostess will feature a favorite recipe(s) from the week before. Your hostesses are:

Wondering What You Can Link Up on Allergy Free Wednesday? Anything that’s fitting for an allergy free diet in some way (we’re not that strict). For the complete rules, click here. Starting off with my favorites–and you should check out the other hostesses’ posts to see if you were featured there!

Brownie Fudge (grain free & V) from Gluten-Free Vegan Love

Ummm…yum!  My son is begging me to make this tomorrow.  I’d use my Easiest Coconut Milk or Easiest Almond Milk.
And stevia and maybe a little liquid since I’m subbing.

Brownie Fudge

Coconut Berry Parfait with Chocolate Crust (paleo) from Real Food Forager

I just thought these were so much fun!  I know the 4th is over but I am making these very soon. I’ll use a low carb sweetener.
They remind me of this Coconut Panna Cotta.

Coconut Berry Parfait

Homemade Strawberry Milk (DF) from Raia’s Recipes

No subs needed here.  Good-bye Quik!

Strawberry Milk

Red, White, and Blue Fruit Tart (DF, SF, EF, and grain free) from Intoxicated On Life

I’ve been planning to make something almost identical to this for weeks.  I think it’s meant to be.
I’d use my Easiest Coconut Milk and I would try to get by with Homemade Coconut Butter somehow.

Fruit Tart

Addictive Coconut Flake Chips (paleo, GF, & DF) from Simply 123 Allergy-Free

Simple and apparently super addictive. I’ve even got this kind of coconut sitting in our basement fridge.

Yippee!  I’ll use stevia on these.

Coconut Flake Chips

and Readers’ Favorite

No-Bake Chocolate Energy Squares (paleo & DF) from Sandi’s Allergy-Free Recipes

These look sooo good, but subbing for the dates would be tough. I’m thinking sweet potato and extra sweetener.
Use my Homemade Nut Butter and Homemade Chocolate Chips too.

No-Bake Chocolate Energy Squares

Which one is YOUR favorite?

Can’t wait to see what you all have to share!

  1. Hi Adrienne,
Thanks for hosting! This week I’m linking up my Vegan & Paleo “Butter” Pecan Ice Cream, and my Foolproof Gluten Free Pizza Crust. Have a great week!
    Megan

  2. Hi Adrienne,

Thanks so much for featuring my Coconut Flake Chips this week on AFW! Regarding using an egg substitute for my cupcakes last week I did not make them using one of the egg sub possibilities, I used eggs. Lastly, to subscribe to my blog there is a box under the “about me” on the right sidebar to sign up. Thanks again for your support and acknowledgement as I am a very new food blogger and admire all the seasoned bloggers out there like yourself. Best, Phyllis

    • Hi Phyllis. Love the flakes! I was asking b/c I think using a sub won’t work w/ coconut flour. I have heard it won’t. Have you ever tried it? Your subscription option doesn’t appear to have an email sign up which is much nicer than a reader so that’s what I was looking for. Well, I really don’t need a more cluttered inbox but I am not in the habit of using a reader. Take good care and let me know.

  3. Thanks for featuring my Coconut Parfaits! Today I shared my Decadent Black Cherry Chocolate Tart (Paleo, GAPS)!

  4. Thanks for hosting this link up. All the featured recipes look amazing, but I’m most excited to try the no bake energy squares! Today I am sharing Almond flour Tostadas with lots of garden veggies and Paleo Meatballs with a Macadamia Nut Ranch Dressing. Thanks again!

  5. Thanks for featuring my Strawberry Milk, Adrienne! :)

  6. Hi Adrienne! Thanks for featuring my No-Bake Chocolate Energy Squares. This week I’m sharing
Strawberry Sorbet. I hope you have a great week!

  7. Thanks for the feature, Adrienne! I hope your son will get to try them out :)

  8. Adrienne, I love all the highlights. Some I’d seen already, but some I’d missed so I appreciate you pointing them out. :-) This week I’ve linked up my banana-based flavored milks. There’s no need at all for those ready-made flavored milks with the questionable ingredients. I also shared the Top 20 desserts from All Gluten-Free Desserts last month. So many droolworthy recipes that will work for so many different folks. Love the talent among the group there; happy you’re a featured contributor, too!

    Have a great week!
