There is no “clear rule” against including processed ingredients in your submission (but we hope you are moving in that direction :-)). So…occasionally you will find some “whole foodie undesirables” in the entries. What to do if you see processed foods and don’t want them?:

Tasty Grain-Free “Cheese” Crackers (dairy free and paleo with vegan option) from Laura’s Gluten-Free Pantry
Yum!  No need for subs here, but I would use my Herbes de Provence Recipe!

Black Eyed Pea Pumpkin Chard Chili (gluten-free & vegan) from Vegan Richa
We just found a wonderful chili recipe that I look forward to sharing with you, but this looks like a “must try”.
And we’ve got a bunch of black-eyed peas waiting and ready!

The Best Gluten-Free, Vegan, and Grain-Free Chocolate Chip Cookies from Waldorf (Inspired) Moms
Can’t have enough great chocolate chip cookie recipes, eh?
I’d use my Homemade Chocolate / Carob Chips and a candida-diet-friendly sweetener.

I love Lauren’s recipes.
I would use a different Homemade Nut Butter since my son has a life-threatening allergy to peanuts.

  2. Do you have any way to make a sugar free liquid sweetener that can be used in place of coconut nectar, agave, maple syrup, brown rice syrup, honey? Liquid stevia does not have the same “stick” consistency. I need something of this nature for recipes calling for such.

  4. I’ve got a bunch I’ve been collecting for years but I did buy a few new small jars recently at the crate and barrel outlet store. I think they were $3 each which was about a dollar less than I usually see them. The jars in the picture for the post I found on craigslist. A guy ordered a set of about 6 jars of various sizes then decided he couldn’t use them. I got the batch for half price 🙂
