If you’ve been reading here for awhile, you may have noticed the plethora of dairy-free recipes on my site.
I don’t have a “thing” against dairy, per se, but my son has a life threatening dairy allergy that showed up when he was an infant.

As a result, we’ve been using dairy-free alternatives for a loooong time now.
Well, today, in honor of the So Delicious Dairy-Free 3 Course Recipe Contest, I decided to share with you some of our favorite dairy-free recipes, some of which also happen to be my submissions to the contest. (ooh–hope I win. hope I win. hope I win.)
You’re probably familiar with So Delicious already, but in case you aren’t, they make some really delicious dairy substitutes, and some really really yummola dairy-free ice creams (some of which happen to be sugar-free as well. We get them as a treat sometimes–buy a few pints, grab some spoons and eat them as a family.)
Anyhoo–let’s get on with the recipes, shall we?
This dip is a super-healthy alternative to those caramel dips that are loaded with high fructose corn syrup, preservatives and such. We love it for dipping fruit (of course), but it’s also a great drizzle for cakes, cookies, pancakes, or fabulous eaten just off the spoon :).
Dairy-Free Main Dishes
This cake not only tastes great, but it’s super simple to make. Just mix the ingredients together the night before, soak overnight and bake in the morning. You’ll never believe that it’s made with no flour!
Yes, you can have Chocolate Pudding for Breakfast, when it’s THIS chocolate pudding, that is. We seriously have this for breakfast often in our home. We have the carob version as well and have fun adding loads of topping.
These cupcakes are filled with a rich cheesecake-y filling that’s dairy free. Delectable. My youngest asked for these made into a cake for his birthday.
I like my ice cream with lots of chunky stuffola in it. This dairy free ice cream fits the bill.

It gave me a great reason to pull out some of my “oldy but goody” dairy free recipes and share them with you all again!
