Grain Free Chocolate Chunk Cookies, Chocolate PB Breakfast Parfait, Cookie Dough Bites & More!

Allergy Free Recipes Welcome back to another week of Allergy Free Wednesdays! A collection of yumminess that is aimed at making it easier for you to create healthy, allergy free foods for you and your family. There is no “clear rule” against including processed ingredients in your submission (but we hope you are moving in that direction :-) ). So…occasionally you will find some “whole foodie undesirables” in the entries. What to do if you see processed foods and don’t want them?:

So—-welcome to Allergy-Free Wednesdays (AFW). AFW is a weekly blog hop where folks can share their allergy-free cuisine, gain knowledge about allergy-related topics/issues, and connect with others living or caring for someone with food allergies. Your weekly submissions will be shared on 7 blogs! Additionally, eachhostess will feature a favorite recipe(s) from the week before. Please visit each blog to see their features! Your hostesses are:

Wondering What You Can Link Up on Allergy Free Wednesday?

Basically anything that is fitting for an allergy free diet in some way (we’re not that strict).
Every week I write my own substutions for the week’d favorites to help you along a bit.
For the complete rules, click here.
Here goes – starting off with my favorites–and you should check out the other hostesses’ posts to see if you were featured there!

My Favorites from Last Week (with substitution ideas)~

Grain-Free Famous Chocolate Chunk Cookies from A Sweet and Salty Life
Use my Homemade Chocolate / Carob Chips for sure on this one!  Can’t wait to try these! I’d use a candida-friendly sweetener like xylitol or vegetable glycerine, but these look great!

Grain-Free Chocolate Chip Cookies

DF Caramel Cashew Ice Cream from Live Free, Gluten-Free
This looks great too!  I’ll be using my Easy Homemade Coconut Milk for both milks in this recipe and a completely candida-friendly sweetener.  And topping with a different nut due to cashew allergies!

Coconut Milk Ice Cream

and finally,

DF Chai Caramel Ice Cream Sundae from Vegan Richa
We’d have to make a different ice cream since we’re avoiding bananas, but this cake and sauce were just toooo tempting!  For the cake I would sub in gluten free flours, candida-friendly sweeteners, a different nut and my Homemade Chocolate Chips for the chocolate. For the sauce, I’d use my Homemade Coconut Milk and a candida-friendly sweetener.  I’ve been looking for a good dairy-free caramel for awhile now….hope to share a yummy use for it soon!

Dairy-Free Caramel Sauce

and Readers’ Favorites

NOatmeal – Grain-Free “Oatmeal” from Writing in White
No banana for us again here, but I would use a flax or chia gel for the egg. And different nuts, but this looks very promising.

Grain-Free Cereal

Raw Cookie Recipe by The Nourishing Home
What a yummy recipe from my friend Kelly!
I actually did a remake of these this past week and they turned out wonderful! Can’t wait to share them with you!

Raw Cookie Dough Balls

and Chocolate Peanut Butter Breakfast Parfait from Non-Dairy Queen
I will definitely be trying this for those of us “still eating some grain” members of my family.  Maybe a “noatmeal” version will be coming soon :) ? I’d be subbing in another Homemade Nut or Seed Butter for the PB, and my Rich Coffee Substitute for the coffee.  Yummo!

Dairy-Free Peanut Butter Dessert

I can’t wait to see what you all have this week!
